First: create your static home page -Welcome page!
Create a page- Add New Pages in your dashboard (Have a heathers animation clip on it!)
Submit this for review and tell me so I can allow the publication
Second: Go to Appearance in your dashboard and Customise your blog. You will need to choose a Theme, Widgets, Background, Footer, (and creating your menu will come later-once you have your extension work added.) When you Customise your appearance, make sure you choose a good Title and Tagline for your blog. Mine is ICT 2015 Bloggers and my Tagline in Be Cyber Smart!
You can also follow our school blogs so they’re easy to get to via your blog, in my sites at the top!
This is a lot of fun, so enjoy!
Once you’ve established the set up of your blog we’ll have students and your parents subscribe or become added as a blog User so they can view your blog too!
Remember, this is a private blog so if you add any posts or pages I will have to moderate them before they become published.
- Theme
- Title & Tagline
- All customise/appearance
- Trash the page & post that is already on your blog (the one they made)
- Create ‘Welcome’ page
- Make it static (In Customise)
- Add 5 more pages (My Work, Favourite hangouts @ EPS, I am CyberSmart, Teachers of Inspiration, My Success @ School, My Music, etc.)
- Add work & photos to these pages. (Use snipping tool to save your work etc as an image-jpeg & add it into your blog.)
- Get your parents to subscribe to your blog. (You add them in your dashboard)
